Erykah Badu joined forces with Cookies' founder Berner to launch her own strain "That Badu." The music icon and entrepreneur describes this Limoncello crossbred from Mad Cow Genetics as an aromatic lemon fragrance that "just gets you through your day without feeling over-exposed".

Cookie storefronts is hosting a launch for this collaboration, on International Women's Day -- March 8 -- featuring Badu's product line including ceramic bongs and rolling trays in blue-and white designs inspired from ancient Qinghua porcelains.

Erykah Badu has long been an outspoken champion of women's rights. To celebrate Women's History Month she's joining Cookies cannabis to create That Badu. This premium range was designed with women's health in mind. It's debut will be on International Women's Day - March 8th. A second batch of products will be available around Mother's Day. The launch date is 14 May.

Badu's brand vision was fully realized from the research and testing to the packaging design. A purple-and-white motif reminiscent of ancient Chinese Qinghua ceramics can be seen throughout all products, such as her porcelain tray for rolling joints and Roberto Lugo's vase-shaped bong which she affectionately named "Woman Vessel." Together, the two collaborated to create a piece that celebrates cannabis' beauty and ritual.
